I like Boar's, Boar's are not super expensive, a Boar will make Lather, Exfoliate Skin & Beard, and last apply Lather like most other Brush's. My Current Boar in use is a cheap Omega 10019 Boar. Honestly it is a lot of bang for the buck...

My “top” favourite brush is me Trubby 2.5 ( 1/2 way between a Simpson 2 & 3)with a 24mm Badger knot made out of Jarrah (curly) hardwood, finished in multiple coats ofAC, made by Troy at Troy Craft in Brisbane, Australia.
