It took some time to receive through the post, but it finally came in yesterday. A Simpson Chubby 2 ..... I'm going to try to clean it and use it without replacing the knot. Any suggestions on revitalizing the knot? ..... It's in better shape than I thought originally. 😁

I've wanted a Simpson Chubby 2 for years, but until now haven't scored one. This was not because they were not available, but because I wanted one with "history or character" AKA heavily butterscotched to the point of caramel. I'd of even accepted cracks or chips. Seller pic I payed more for...

Due to bad seller pics I thought it was a Made Rite, but their was no embossing on the bottom as is typical for many value shaving brushes. If it didn't have a curve in at the base I would have named it a Rubberset. Definitely very old badger knot. It has all the characteristics of a Simpson...
