Friday's shave was excellent. I stacked the two halves of the Wizamet Super Iridium blade because one half by itself was a bit loose. It worked extremely well.
The Abbatey La Mantia Ishtar lathered superbly with this beautifully resto-moded brush...
One of my favorite injectors, the Schick C3. When I first got it I thought it shaved like a brick and almost put it back up for sale. That would have been a mistake as it now gives me one of the most trouble-free and smoothest shaves in my den...
This format of thread has been my favorite place to hang out on other forums. So not seeing one here I'll start one. If people like it and want to participate, this is open to any and all SOTD shaves with a single edge exposed. So that would...
A very sound and very forgiving shaver. The OREN by Occams is really a fantastic shaver that is gentle on the face yet very effective at removing the whiskers though one would think not. I’ve settled mostly with the 2 dot plate and a Feather Pro...

Got a terrific shave with my Feather AC.
I don't think this gets talked about enough. Unlike DE blades, which more or less all have same dimensions, SEs come in different lengths and thicknesses which can much more dramatically change the way your razor feels. Here is a comparison of...
I call it the THE NO BULL TRUTH.
You dont need a Wolfman to get a Good SHAVE, you need Skill, or Technique, Razor, Blade, Soap, or Cream, and LAST TECHNIQUE.
I have slo Super Razors costing hundred of dollars, I use most Gillette DE Vintages, 1933- 1962, only modern is a Goodfellas’ Smile Bayonetta DE Safety Razor.
All deliver DFS, close to BBS because I OWN TECHNIQUE.
I am like the hunter of 1700's...
Hi @Hosay18
Firstly, thank you for another great review and the lovely pictures.
I have the Yaqi ghost 90 Ti DC as well.
I purchased it second-hand through a good friend and was not taken with it to start with.
I’m so glad I took the time to...
Just a quick update on my time so far with the Next Level 112+ while using a Feather. 2 more shaves in, this one included and if there has been any improvement on how this razor works, it’s marginal to be quite honest. My duration of shaves have...

Copy & paste from another write up on another forum.
I’m writing this about 2 hours removed from my shave with the Razorock Next Level 112+ razor. I had a full 24 hours worth of stubble to work with since yesterday evenings shave. I won’t bore...
Lucky me and both cost me my organs, glad to have both heads and the original Weber handle. Both Weber razors, aren’t for sale, until I REST IN BLOODY PEACE, in other words TOUGH BLOODY TITTIES!
WEBER!!!….. ITS ALL MINE!!
Welcome to ShaveChat, Ingo! Great to have another straight razor and shavette enthusiast joining us. Looking forward to seeing your shaves and hearing about your experiences. Enjoy the forum! 🙂
Have been enjoying my Oliworks Meteorite SS with a medium plate. Also like my Aylsworth Apex SS with a standard plate. They’ve been fighting it out to see which gives the best shave. Too close to call at this point because shaves have been...
I’m a gluttonous heathen of razor variety in my shaves. Today though, I wanted a super smooth and ultimate glide shave and the Diamondback does this with nearly perfect execution. An incredibly comfortable shaver for a near mindless shave exercise.
I have a big collection of razors (and knives), but those are my "fantastic four":
Yaqi Ultima Slope, Yaqi Ghost Titanium 0.70, Razorock Cybermild, Kämpfe Henson Clone mild (I`m a "Softy";))
I have 7 Razors, 6 Vintage Gillettes, one CNC Modern, all have positives, and negatives, each gets use, love each one dearly.
Vintage Gillette - 1957 Flair Tip DE Safety Razor
Vintage Gillette - Fat Handle Pre War Tech DE Safety Razor

At the moment it’s the plain old EJ DE89 or RazorRock GOAT. I’ve tried this, that and the next thing but always return to the humble DE89. It just works every time without fail. I seem to prefer the standard, inexpensive DE89 compared to the...
Modern DE: Rockwell 6C
Vintage Gillette: Gillette Slim

"What's my fav as far saftey razors?"
Thats a tough one with so many brillinnt modern and vintage razors to choose from.
I do like design of my Karve CB three piece in brass even the level tarnishing is good in my book.
As I'm not a big fan of...
My favorite for the past few months at least has been my Gillette Tech "Frankenrazor". It consists of a Gillette Tech head from 1973, and then a thin handle from a 1945-1950 model. This razor gives me a darn fine shave every time.
Hi Guys, joined my first forum around 2005 with a guy name Gio. Forgot the exact name of the forum but it had about 25 members if that many. Gio was in the aerospace business out of Italy. After a year or two he disbanded it because it was too...
