What Straight Razor Did You Use Today?

This is a new acquisition although I actually bought it about a year or so ago. I just never got around to sending it off to Glen Mercurio at Gemstar Customs (@gssixgun from the old TSD forum.) But, having recently sent the broken Leader, this fine little CVH and another midi-sized Swedish razor off to him it gets to make its debut. With 3 days of stubble it was a good test. Glen’s honing skills shone through and this blade was super easy to maneuver and super efficient. Wonderful :)

This unusual razor came with the CVH in my last shave. It’s smaller, midi-sized, and a near wedge to quarter hollow grind. It shaves with a very solid and smooth feel. I could not find out much about KIFA but I’m guessing it was for export since it is stamped Sweden. Very nice razor with a superb edge courtesy of Glen Mercurio at Gemstar Customs. :)

Repeat performance for the Leader today. My Castle Forbes shave cream and after shave balm are reaching the end of life. I may have to start using it more to clear out some space. And I do love that scent. The after shave balm is fantastic 👍🏻
