Oh man, I tried using a shavette but my hands kept shaking. Too scared that’ll butcher my face. Not confident enough nor have the skill to use a straight razor 😬

  • Aftershave : Rasozero Rinfrescante. (Italy)
  • Weight : 103 grams. (Razor)
Hi all,
I had a great afternoon shave with the Karve CB C plate this razor is well made and pleasing to the eye as you would expect from Karve.
I do wish I had the E plate but I only have the C the shave was on a 2 1/2 day grow and I had to do some touch-ups even with a new
7 o clock blade loaded anyway still a great shave.

The Goodfella's smile Re Nero is a fine soap with a pleasing fresh scent great cushioning and aftershave feel.

The Rasozero Rinfrescante splash is not bad but a bit to zesty and the scent reminded me of sunlight lemon dishwashing liquid.:cautious:

1 pass WTG 1 pass ATG and some Touch-ups done.
No nicks no worries.

A wonderful 2,5 pass shave. Smooth, gentle and very thoroughly. I enjoyed it a lot.

I hear ya! I am by far not-skilled and had zero confidence going in and greatly doubted that I’d ever master the straight. It is a longer learning curve. I’d say it took about 30 shaves before I felt like I was somewhat comfortable in my technique :oops:

Hi,

you will be surprised HOW good this razor is. It is definitely in my absolute Top 3 razors. The shaves are SO smooth and gentle. You have a very little blade feel and this boy is thoroughly…maaaan…I love it and I think you will too :)
