I love a pocket or folding knife such a handy bit of kit especially the multi tool type.
I carry and use a Victorinox 75mm/3" basic lock back knife.
I have it with me at work and always when I'm out bush. 
It's always sharp and ready.
The exceptions when I'm going out somewhere fancy or geting on a plane.

I have had this knife since I was 25 years old (about 35 years) it was given to me by the owner of
a piggery that I work at for 3 months in Austria when I had a working holiday in Europe in my youth.
They used the same knife to stick the pigs to go to market while they eat at the feeding trough they just passed
away eating and happy no pain no fear (the tenderest pork you could ever eat no stress on the animal)
I use my pocket knife all the time and feel lost with out it.
