The project continues accelerating into a large-scale global wet shaving reference system
The project has now reached a total of 1222 curated links, continuing its rapid expansion and reinforcing its transition from a traditional index into a fully interconnected wet shaving ecosystem.
What began as a categorized resource list has now evolved into a massive international discovery platform covering artisans, manufacturers, retailers, reviewers, forums, media creators, restoration specialists, niche communities, and educational content from across the world.
The continued pace of growth demonstrates both the depth of the wet shaving hobby and the incredible level of community participation supporting the project.
A sincere thank you to everyone contributing links, suggestions, and discoveries.
Several sections have continued expanding aggressively:
• S (192) — now approaching 200 indexed entries and firmly established as the largest section
• T (106) — continues to require multi-part structure due to density
• M (98) — rapidly approaching triple digits with strong artisan/manufacturer representation
• A (74)
• B (74)
• H (69)
• R (68)
• D (58)
• L (58)
• C (53)
Additional growth areas include:
• Expansion of the international and non-English section (22 entries)
• Significant increase in YouTube creators and media channels
• More coverage of specialized artisans and niche manufacturers
• Continued addition of vintage, restoration, and custom shaving resources
As the project scales, structural improvements continue to evolve alongside the dataset:
• Multi-part section architecture for high-density letters (S & T)
• Improved cross-navigation between sections
• Better handling of large BBCode datasets within XenForo limitations
• Enhanced internal ecosystem linking between index entries and creator content
• Continued optimization for future scalability and maintainability
The project is no longer operating as a static thread — it is increasingly functioning as a living, expandable knowledge network.
One of the biggest developments has been the increasing integration between:
• Main index entries
• YouTube creator pages
• Community discussions
• External resources
• Internal Shave & Chat content
This interconnected structure significantly improves:
• Discovery
• Navigation
• Long-term archival value
• Community engagement
The project is steadily evolving toward a centralized wet shaving reference hub.
Compared to the previous progress report:
• +138 new curated links added
• Total index expanded from 1084 → 1222
• Continued growth across nearly all major alphabetical sections
• Increased density of:
- Artisan brands
- International vendors
- YouTube/media creators
- Community resources
The expansion rate remains exceptionally strong.
While coverage is now extensive, several areas still present opportunities for growth:
• U (2) — still largely unexplored
• V (17)
• X (7)
• Smaller regional artisans
• Vintage restoration specialists
• Custom razor and brush makers
• Non-English speaking wet shaving communities
• Historical and educational shaving resources
This remains a community-driven project, and its continued growth is only possible through shared contributions and collective knowledge.
If you know of resources not yet listed:
• Shaving artisans
• Online shops
• Forums or communities
• YouTube channels or reviewers
• Restoration or vintage specialists
• Any useful shaving-related resource
Please reply in the thread and share them.
All submissions are reviewed and categorized to maintain consistency, quality, and long-term usability.
The project is now entering a mature expansion stage — growing beyond a simple index into a scalable and interconnected global reference platform for traditional wet shaving.
Thank you all for helping build it.
