Personally, I’d have no issues not like a mismatch with Brands or visual looks, ie; S/S head Bronze handle etc? Obviously head heavy so will out way your “dislike” for lighter razors, go for it Bro

As is well known YMMV. I personally find the 2 piece from #88 the smoothest most efficient vintage Gillette, I have ever used and still have in my rotation, but nothing beats the beauty of the Gen 1 Aristocrat ❤️ them.

I enjoy the few updates on this Chat, the more I think about it @TobyC may have got it right!! My Gillette from set 88, Culmak 84 (sorry best Badger not Boar) and a mug and puck of Old Spice, followed by the O/S splash, I reach out to more than all others in my rotation.
