One of the great things in wet shaving well all face shaving is aftershaves and shaving Balms.
I remember when I was a kid in the 1970s here in Australia the scent of the old man's aftershave.
Stuff like Brut 33 , Old spice , Blue stratos and of course Avon ( my old girl used to have Avon parties) all the best cheap stuff.
How times have changed for me I love the bay rum aftershave the best  even though I like other one and there are so many.

So whats your favourite aftershave or balm?
Tell as all what you like or even what you don't like.
Oh and we all love seeing your pics.

Cheers.

Vintage Old Spice with matching shave soap. On a Yardley “binge” at present so looking for a reasonable priced Vintage A/S 🤞

On a Yardlley binge?
Isn’t that like looking for a live one in the cemetery but all you can find is dried out corpses.
😉

I recently finished off my bottle of Pinaud Clubman aftershave, so I decided to pick up this bottle of Aqua Velva Classic Ice Blue when I was at the store today. Much like the Pinaud Clubman, this product has a classic scent that I enjoy.

My favourite Balm to date is Cella Extra Extra Bio. It is not a milky consistency, more like a thicker Nivea. It absorbs into the skin rapidly and soothes and calms quickly. I always use a balm, after all we are removing and abrasing our skin and it needs help to recover. The scent is weird and hard to describe. I've tried Proraso, Haslinger, Alexander Simpson, Nivea, Ozzie one LesC gave me. Most have nice scents but don't perform like the Cella Bio.

different product daily, balms in fall/winter,splashes in spring/summer,sometimes thayers astringent and an edt/edp..

I just received this as part of a pass around box in New Zealand. As soon as I took the cap off, my mind thought, f$%k yeah, I know that scent. Time warped me right back to my 25-35 years of age getting haircuts from Ken Penny's barber shop in town. Lifelong barber and shaving shop. Got to get me some or I'm keeping this bottle. 20260214_102940.jpg
