Ariana and Evan’s —your experience?

I bought some gently used soaps including A&E aqua de boracay (K2e base). I’ve tried it twice and am not sure I’m as impressed as a lot of forum commenters seem to be.

I see they have three different bases, maybe I’d be happier with legacy V2 or vegan?

What’s your experience with them?

Ariana & Evans and me had (and have) quite a difficult "friendship". I have tried a few of their soaps as samples and while i like the scents a lot, i did not liked the lather that well. Don´t get me wrong, the lather is good, but if i compare it with some other artisans, like Saponificio Varesino, Soap Commander, Shannon´s Soaps, Mike´s Natural Soaps etc., the soap is missing something for me. The lather is ok, but not that type of lather i would go crazy for. Residual slickness is ok too. What i liked best, has been the skinfeel after the shave. My skin was well hydrated with no irritations or anything like that and my face just felt good afterwards.
