Never bought anything from them, but heard they were good to deal with.

R.I.P. Maybe they will have Going Out of Business Sale.

TSN was my shaving "home" for many years. I bought often from Bullgoose. Very sad. I wish Phil all the best.

All wet shaving supplies store don’t last a lifetime, evil bastard Gillette cartridge razors, knows you’ll always come back to the dark side of cartridge shaving.

Think one thing that might have also hurt Bullgoose was last year he announced No More Sale, then change that policy when I am sure business got slow.

The other observation is he sold a lot off HIGH END ITEMS, when all you are seeing is Bugatti’s Ferrari’s, Lamborghini’s. It send the buyer of what I call Great,Butter & Milk shopper else where. The place that sell price point Razors, Brushes, and consumables. Not everyone is going to buy a 500 dollar Razor.

Gillette is not Gillette, it is Proctor & Gamble, a big money machine that sell all sorts of things, they wants your dollar or what ever you spends and no longer has the values of K.C. Gillette. Most of what they sell is about most profit, not best product they can deliver.

Priced himself out of the game. I shopped his clearance items at 25 and 35% off as he is/was closing.

Oh wow…just read this right now while strolling through the forum. Sad to hear…I did a few orders at Bullgoose and was part of TSN as well.

I wish Phil all the best for his future. It was a good time.

Closed, and done 5/21/2026, Phil IMHO did not cover enough bases, he only sold the upper end Shave good, businessplanlast 15 plus years. Hope Phil stashed away some of his profits.

I was so sad when I heard the news. He was one of the first places I bought from when I got back into this.
I racked up from him during his closeout. I would never buy anything from him while he was still under normal business. Under normal circumstances, he was simply too high

Prices were too high at BullGoose, like Shave Nation, but Shave Nation is still in business. Don't understand Shave Nation's business model.

I racked up quite a few myself at closeout. When he first opened everything was basic wet shaving and reasonable. As time went on he seemed to want to be high end only and I was priced out of his items. He had high end items I didn't need or want.

Geo has a 10 to 17% profit margin on certain items. Hard to say what kind of margin he makes off of his house brands. I've probably purchased a handful of items off of him over the years. I believe that shave nation and razor Emporium probably have the same business practices.

I have never had a Sale Discount Code from Geo, I always get First Respond / Military discount at Razor Empourium, plus they send out email Discount Codes all the time, 10, 15, 20, 25, and Black Friday 30%.

I live close to Razor Emporium, nice to be about to touch, feel, smell, and see item I want to buy before sale.

Just an FYI... Phil Huntsinger from Bullgoose has turned oer his Furbo and Levanted shave soaps to Gareth at the Shave Supply who will be carrying them now.

Phil had a bad business plan IMHO, too much focus on TOP TIER Products, he was catering to a small part of WetSHAVE Market. Plus many of offering were release of small number of items. IMHO He should ha ve catered to a bigger audience then the Big Dollar Customer.
