Bullgoose bites the dust

Phil had a bad business plan IMHO, too much focus on TOP TIER Products, he was catering to a small part of WetSHAVE Market. Plus many of offering were release of small number of items. IMHO He should ha ve catered to a bigger audience then the Big Dollar Customer.
I agree. I remember when he started. He was one of the first places I bought from. He was very much like other vendors with reasonably priced items. Slowly he began to get more upscale and more unaffordable for most wet shavers.

Also there was rumor of some Legal Problem with State like American / California Disabilites Act Non Compliance. California is not a place you want to be in business, they keep sticking it to you even way they can.

I think BullGoose had some great offerings. Didn't appear to me to be trying to cater to some exclusive market, although maybe I read that wrong. It's a shame to see the end of such a great vendor. He was a nice guy as well.

Well Phil last 15 years plus, hopefully he save some of his profits, and is enjoying life.

A bigger tragedy was Executive Shaving in the UK. They say that it was due to Brexit, but I beg to differ. The original owner, Brian, left the thriving and profitable business and handed it over to two people who really had no fucking clue and ran the business into the ground within 2 years with a strategy of diminishing inventory, too many own brands, and not enough attention paid to artisans. That's my tuppence worth.
