Over the years I have watched these videos several times. Maybe these will help others in the processes of using a honed or replaceable blade straight razor.
Another suggestion is to use a blade holder you are confident with like a DE or SE in combination or a "daily double". I have found an AC Feather blade to be among the finest most effective available, but I am sure there are other AC brands like Kai and Schick Pro Line that I have not experienced.
Besides several vintage razors I honed myself, my shavette is an Artist Club Feather SS.
