Well, honestly, I was thinking the price reflected a tariff. If so, this is a good example of who pays for tariffs. It is not the country for which the tariff is levied. It is the consumer.

This soap is not made in the US. The tariff does not protect a US manufacturer. I met someone who collects and restores Saab vehicles. He needed a part. Ironically, he praised the tariffs which resulted in him having to pay more for a part. The part is not available from an American producer. He got around the part by having the part sent to England to his relative.

I'm Greek, and here in Greece the retail price for a tub of HAGS soap is around €27, which is roughly $31–32. So the $32 price at Razor Emporium is actually pretty much in line with the retail pricing here.
Of course, I have no idea what wholesale price Razor Emporium gets, but from a customer's point of view, the pricing seems fairly consistent between Greece and the US.
As for the quality, the lather these soaps produce is tremendous. The consistency, though, is borderline croap/cream, so you need to be a little careful when loading. If you press too hard with the brush—or especially if you bloom the tub—you might end up picking up three-quarters of the soap in one go!

Noticed HAGS is available from Your Shaving in Spain, at $26.10 USD. Then looking at another $10.00 Postage to get it delivered.

I am sort of intrigued with HAGS because of artwork. But honestly tend to gravitate toward Soap with price point less then $22.00 USD.

Recently been on a mission using up FREE SAMPLES of Soaps I got at Arizona Shave Meetup.

Current using one is Razor Emporium Nordic that was a 2023 Meetup Soap.

Honestly if I get the Water to Soap Ration Right, it produces a Lather close to PAA CK-6, that is IMHO one of the easiest Soap to Lather if Water to Product Ratio is on money. Give you Great, Slick, Thick, Moist Lather that maker Beard Removal go 1,2,3, and done.

That's brain damaged... he supports the tariffs and yet circumvents them by getting the item sent to the UK. It seems they are OK for others but not for him. Typical Trump-Tit-headed logic.
