Has anybody tried MacDuff's Soap Company Shave Soap from Canada

I've finally got a sample from a good Freemason friend of mine today, it's MacDuff's Aspen Parkland (Unscented), he said that I MUST try this version 5 base and let him know ASAP.

He said the quality of these types of ingredients, creates a lather much higher range and by far better than Ariana & Evans, Barrister and Mann, Noble Otter, Saponificio Varesino and Wholly Kaw I have in my den. It's GREAT to see MacDuff's created less types of soap ingredients below, when comparing against HIGHER range artisan soap makers on the market worldwide.

MacDuff's soap ingredients:-

I love my MacDuffs. My set is Kananaskis Explorer and this scent as well as the lather is top top notch. It is so easy to create a yoghurt like lather with fantastic facefeel, glide and cushion.

The Aftershave is soothing with wonderful skinfeel afterwards. Highly recommended

The advertising on the other forum is utterly unbearable. PiHole works nicely to clean it up and make it readable. Otherwise I cannot stand it.

MacDuff's is great stuff. Might be dependant on the lather you prefer. I like the thicker paint-it-on type as @ChiefShaver mentioned, thick like yogurt, and it works really well for that. I do not like the foamy look like Santa lather.
The Aspen Parkland is unscented , but not scentless. For my nose it has a nice "warm" buttery/nutty scent to it , YMMV.
I find that the scented soaps are quite complex/gourmandy. If you like a simple one-note scent I don't think you will be pleased.
