I think I'm becoming a scooper

I have been reducing my den down to products and scents that I love. I'm doing so I've begun to worry about the potential effects that tub loading could have on a soap that I plan to keep for an extended period of time.

I also like the idea that I can scoop just the amount of soap that I need and then put the container of soap away without having to leave it open to dry out and possibly introducing contaminates.

Additionally some of the soaps that I have are irreplaceable, like Mickey Lee Soap Works, because their creators have long since gone out of business.

Granted, I have been tub loading for about 10 years since I got started in this hobby and I haven't had a single issue. But I don't want to lose even a single container of soap.

The last consideration that I have is for when trying a new soap. If you scoop it and happen to decide that you don't like it. It's more appealing to buyers on the second hand if the soap hasn't been tub loaded.

Am I worrying for nothing? What's your opinion?

Nothing wrong being a scooper, it’s your soap and it’s your choice in your own way.

I’m a bloody loader, not a scooper, can’t be bothered scooping.

Scooper's Rule. Your ideas are my ideas, got inspired by Throwback Tobin.

Been a scooper since the beginning,I have asomewhat large rotation and don't want them compromised ,I also give some away so I can happily say no brushes etc have touched them.

The only time I scoop is when the soap is too low for the brush, then I scoop.
You guys are using the wrong things to scoop,
the only thing you should use is a Olive Garden soup spoon, it's been tested over 10 million times by shavers all over the world.

I understand stealing Silverware from Olive Garden is a crime under B & B law,big punishment will await you.

Bowl looks like AliExpresd special, does it work good?

I scoop soup, ice cream, breakfast cereal and many other things. Shaving soap is not one of them. Hard, triple milled soap doesn’t lend itself to this and for the softer soaps I own, as I face lather exclusively, scooping is unnecessary. There are too many complications in life and ditto in shaving, I’d rather keep it simple. But that’s just me so if you’ve found something that works, have at it.
