The Shield Destroyer Slant Titanium has finally arrived from China.
First impressions are very positive—the razor has a genuinely striking, futuristic design, and the matching stand makes the complete setup look even more impressive. Mike also kindly included an additional handle as a gift, which was a very nice surprise.
Before I had even received the parcel, Mike contacted me to explain that he had discovered a minor issue with the Destroyer head. He has already started producing a replacement and will send the new head to me as soon as it is ready. I asked whether I should use the current head in the meantime, and he confirmed that it is safe and should still shave well.
I appreciate his honesty and the fact that he immediately offered a replacement without me having to report the issue first. That is excellent customer service.
For now, I will probably give the original head a careful test shave and report back with my first impressions. The design certainly looks intriguing!
