Outlaw Evolution handle

Hi gang,

I have 2 Alpha de razors. I got outlaw evolution ss about 1.5 years ago and the guido in brass not so long ago. Both are wonderful razor. I even used it for head shaving and performed like a champ.

Quick question- I am thinking of getting the fat bastard titanium handle for my outlaw ss razor head. Will it work or would ot be too top heavy, ie, head is ss while the handle is lighter. Has any any shavers used a combination of ss & titanium on their de razors? TIA and hope everyone had a great Christening. New Year is just right around the corner. Ian

Hi Ian I have a few Alpha DEs Ti and SS 3 piece razors amongst other modern razors.
I just tried a outlaw Ti handle on a outlaw evo SS head the balance point is a 10mm closer to the base plate (about the width of my index finger close to the head)
I hope that makes sence and helps.

If you had a Titanium Fat Bastard handle and a stainless head it would be well balanced.

Sorry i did not follow this up properly last time. The Fat bastard razors will be c0ming again in about 1-2. months, titanium and maybe 904L. The titanium one is surprisingly light for its size and will not overwhelm the head. www.alphashaving.com
