I guess most of you know me from other fora (B&B, DFS etc) now I am also here.
Started making brushes in summer of 2008 and be active on the diverse fora since 2009. I have a website, but not for selling my stuff, it was set up in 2009 and I really would need to do some updates on the pictures, maybe soon.
I leaned quickly that it is better for me to make custom brushes. Making a brush and putting it up somewhere for sale did not work for me. This decision I made 2010 and since then I have made a lot of brushes, including several LE editions and group buys for B&B.
Here is how I work: you contact me, pm, text or best with email to
ultimatependesigns@comcast.net
We then discuss what you like and I make the brush for you. I work with resins, wood (preferably resin stabilized - although good stuff seems to be really hard to find these days) and other materials. I do not cast any fancy blanks, but I do cast quite a bit of my own blanks, mainly in single colors. I also make brushes that - like ivory color and butterscotch.
I do not tie my own knots. The knots I use are either badger knots from Shavemac - I normally have most sizes in their two-band silvertip, both fan and bulbs, on hand, some selected sizes of the D01 versions and some three band silvertips. For synthetics I use exclusively Muehle STF knots. I also offer Semogue Mistura and boar knots in my brushes.
So, if you have any questions, let me know.
