Saturday's Review: Alpha Shaving Works "The Guido"

That is a pretty big statement bro. Coming from you, I believe it, but, are we talking all current razors produced or just high end artisan ? , or razor , plates and stand combo? Cheers
I think some of the Yaqi razors could challenge it in the VFM area.
There are some good razors amongst them. I’m aware a lot of them are copies of other designs.
But that’s the way things are these days and for that matter have always been.
Cheers.

Artisan razors, for the $ value with the Barber pole handle, my all time favourite and so close to my “eye candy razor” the Gillette Aristocrat Generation 1. Two base plates an SB & OC as well as a matching stand. Followed by the polished finishes on the three metals (so far) superb IMHO and certainly value for the money, as an all in one combo without the need for add ons, extras etc.

Photo Illustration look very well done, what is Price as shown........? Looks pricy.
Unfortunately it´s not available for sale at the moment. @Alpha Shaving Works is your source for information on any future offerings.

The brass gives this razor that golden look which (I guess) makes it look pricy although I believe it´s one of the most reasonable offerings out there.

You could compare it with other offerings from other manufacturers and knowing that (for example) Razorock is asking around 50 to 70 USD for a single base plate without a handle, a cap and a base...two of those baseplates would already be more expensive than this set. And trying to shave using 2 baseplates is kind of an adventurous undertaking! 😆

It was $88.88 plus shipping.
