Five to seven max. Couple of years ago you could get maybe 10 good shaves out of one. I've got the Romulus in open comb and that dude works like a champ, probably seven shaves on a blade.SOTD 04/16/2026

Question for my fellow AC shavers. What is the longevity you are getting out of Feather Pro AC blades? Today's shave was really rough and tuggy and I wouldn't expect that on a third use blade. I also did have 3 days of beard growth and my other thought is that the Yaqi just can't handle that much growth. The second pass was not the best either.

It uses a half blade, the Rod uses the AC. The Jaga, half blade as well.
The legend.. I've got the version one and version two sabre in SS. Damn good shavers. Thanks for sharing.
It really is a legend. I don’t have the V1, but the V2 has been a joy—especially how smooth it is even with a fresh GEM blade. Glad to hear you’ve got both versions!
