I received the Leaf Thorn today from @ewk in SC. He graciously has let me try it out. It is cleaned, loaded, and ready to go for tomorrow morning's shave. My wife said, "Oh, I like that color!"

Today, I am using the Twig Thorn for the first time. I have it on loan from @ewk . I am also heading out to Asheville this morning for some Mohs surgery on my chin and cheek, so this shave is my surgical prep.

The Proraso White Shave Cream was face-lathered well with Jayaruh #144 Finest Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Leaf Thorn razor and the Gillette Silver Blue Half Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Derby City Chop Shop Winter Reserve After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Here's the proof of shave. I recorded my first shave with the Thorn this morning and then went to Asheville for my Mohs surgery. After returning home, I did the editing and loaded it to YouTube. It was a great shave with a very fine razor.
