Cold Water Rinse
Vintage Life Amalfi Basil Lemon Shave Soap
Jayaruh #454 Badger
Dad's Schick E3
Personna Injector Blade
Mennen Skin Bracer After Shave
The Vintage Life Amalfi Basil Lemon Shave Soap lathered well with Jayaruh #454 Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Dad's Schick E3 Razor and a Personna Injector Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Mennen Skin Bracer After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
Thanks. It looks fantastic but I just don't use my AC based razors very much. I greatly prefer the narrower injector blade razors as well as DE and Gem razors which are a similar width.
A fabulous shave from start to finish. It handles on the skin with superb comfort and smooth like ice efficiency. Very few razors combine both comfort and efficient work like the Occam’s O.R.E.N AC razor. An outstanding razor indeed.
Fantastic shave with the younger & less aggressive sibling to the El Jefe, the MR-SE. Loaded it with a KAI Captain blade and a wonderful 3 pass shave with no touch ups or buffing required. Superb finish without an ounce of irritation nor a spec of the red liquid exposed. A shame that IKON hasn’t refined or kept up with its razor production on either DE’s or SE’s. They probably weren’t the finest machined tools however, when they got them close enough, these razors are top notch performers. And the MR-SE is a very capable shaver that can stand shoulder to shoulder with the more aggressive or efficient razors in the business, modern or vintage regardless of razor format.
Horizon by Atelier Durdan. One of the finest SE razors in the market today. Fabulous with a Feather Pro blade set to #6. Yes, it’s an adjustable via slide on the base plate.
