The shave was total perfection from start to finish. The Spirit & Feather combo specifically with the Pro Super is just on another level of shave performance. Still, the Spirit manages to keep this blade docile and super comfortable to use as the feeling on skin is light yet very effective at removing the whiskers with ease. Excellent combination these two for me….

Superb shave. One of the best ever in light maneuverability combined with ease of use, smoothness and excellent efficient behavior. Throw in a blade and it simply just gets busy doing what it does best. Clearing the face of whiskers like only the Vector can with a Schick Proline with total comfort & conviction. A masterpiece in form, design and function.

Flyedge Twin SE and Feather SS

The Flyedge is a replaceable twin SE type with a magnetic blade shelf and roller. I have a split Feather Yellow blade installed. I got a very effective with and against the grain only using the SS for cross and clean up.

The Brass General. This razor just has an aura abut it that I can’t put int words. It’s big, heavy, wide and almost looks outclassed when one compares it to the more modern, sleek, light and slightly futuristic looks of todays SE razors but, the quality shave that this razor delivers is on par with those modern takes and arguably, depending on who makes the argument is an equal to todays & yesterdays greats. It’s substantial in hand giving the feel of robustness & almost industrial like type of persona. The Brass General is a true shaving character and a fine one at that.
