Today’s hot weather here on Long Island had me reach for BBS Soaps Blue Blast and my Aylsworth Apex AL with the blue plate.
BBS is one of my favorite artisans. They are one of the artisans I own the most of. I haven’t found a set I didn’t like. And thankfully The Razor Company restocks them often enough. Blue Blast perfect for this very warm spring day. Citrus, pear, and other fruits. A pinch of ginger to add just a touch of spice. Based on Ex Nihilo Blue Talisman. I have never smelled the original but can’t imagine it being as good as Thanos’ interpretation! This stuff just rocks! This will be a go to for the coming warmth!
And what can you say about the Apex that hasn’t? One of my favorite razors in any material. The aluminum is one of my top three. I have it in both colors and every color base plate. For matching purposes and because I have issues.
