This shave had me grab Ethos and their amazing Vanilla Safi and the Carbon Cx in aluminum.



Vanilla Safi is so damn good. Not a sweet, syrupy vanilla from your ice cream this is the real deal vanilla. Smooth, rich, and warm it sets a tone for your day! This is one I’m glad I got in 7.5 oz and wish I had the edp. Can’t wait to use the Ethos - Tonka Bean & Vanilla!



The Cx is one of my favorite razors. This is my first time trying the aluminum and it’s is what I would expect - excellent. A smooth, easy shave. I usually go with the ++ plate on my Cx’s so this was a little less aggressive but still an amazing shave! This is an easy grab for travel!



It was a great shave! Happy Saturday and shave on!

Pre-shave; Warm shower, face rinse with MWF bar soap.
Brush; Rudy Vey, “Vermillion Eagle” stabilised Padauk timber handle, clear coat finish with a 25mm Muhle STF ++ Synthetic fibre knot at Rudy’s loft setting.
Soap; Saponificio Varesino, Tundra Artica 4.3.
Razor; Atelier Durdan, La Faulx ‘’The Scythe’’ AC razor with ++ plate. L.E 3/20 “Criniere Ardente” Fiery Mane
Blade; Schick, Proline P30.
Post-shave; Saponificio Varesino, Tundra Artica milk/balm.
Cologne/EDP;
Moisturiser;
Attar (Perfume Oil);
Shave; Very smooth and efficient shave with the Fiery Mane. Nice face lather whipped up from the brush from my favourite SV soap and Balm for a nice finish to a great shave.

I started with the cold water rinse. The Williams lathered well with the Jayaruh #425. I did two passes with the Schick L-1 razor with a Personna injector blade. After a cold water rinse, I finished with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Old Spice Classic After Shave. I am now clean, smooth, and refreshed.

Brush:- Paladin Cleo Two Band Finest Badger 26/52mm bulb in Cobalt
Soap/Cream:- MacDuff's Soap Co ~ Aspen Parkland (Unscented) sample
Razor/Blade:- RazoRock Goat SS / Voskhod #3
Post/After-shave:- T.N. Dickinson Witch Hazel Astringent mixed into the 240ml bottle with Plunkett's Vita E Pure with Rosehip Oil (10 drops), Natural Plant Glycerine (20) & Tea Tree Oil Antiseptic (5)
Moisturising Cream:- Aveeno Active Naturals Daily Fragrance-Free (for autumn & winter season)
Fragrance:- Milkman King of Wood (Australian made)
Deodorant:- Milkman King of Wood (Australian made)

Special company shave Sunday.

Well we are having guests over for dinner that are very special to us. In honor of the occasion I broke out my mint F4 Toggle. I cherish it along with my D1, I am truly blessed to own them. I have come to respect the design and engineering back in 1956 that went into this razor. It is such a pleasure to shave with the combination of balance and adjustability is flawless.

Proraso pre-shave, Gillette F4 Toggle, Omega EVO, Ethos Succes’ soap, Tatra, Omega Alum, Thayers Facial Toner, HAGs Faceless balm, Creed Aventus cologne. Perfect BBS three pass shave (7,5,3).
