I am very happy with Kim’s base. For a brand new artisan, it’s very impressive. I like how it takes a decent amount of water. It’s plenty slick and it’s not drying at all post shave. I enjoy the t scents I have which in addition to this one include Fresh Forest, Japanese Mint, and Santa’s Snack. The presentation with the hand drawn topographical maps is a nice touch as well. I’m a fan and will continue to pick up newer releases. The next one will be around April.

Wow! What an incredible shave! Every instrument used was tops! The stars are, of course, the razor and soap set. For those I grabbed my new Design94 SS Life I picked up at The Razor Company and BBS soaps Bael also from TRC.

Design94 just makes razors that agree with my face perfectly. I first picked up a Ti one from TRC and having not heard anything about it wasn’t expecting too much. After shaving with it and finding one of my favorite razors I grabbed this SS and it shaves just as amazing! So smooth and easy! It glides across my face with ease! And matches perfectly with my favorite blade in the Gillette Minora, also bought at TRC, which works out amazing! I picked up the Aluminum version in red from Katie and will be using that soon!

And what can I say about BBS? One of my top 3 artisans! Their soaps performance is just top notch! Slick, thick, and bursting with lather a tiny bit goes a long way! And the he splash is thick and not sticky! I can feel my face absorbing the nutrients! BBS for the win! Opa!

Jayaruh #222 Synthetic
AliExpress Double Open Comb
Gillette Nacet
Cold Water Rinse
Humphrey's Witch Hazel
Duru Cologne

The Musgo Real Shave Soap face-lathered well with Jayaruh #222 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the AliExpress Double Open Comb razor and the Gillette Nacet Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Duru Cologne. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
