This week I am just changing the razor. The razor I call Frankenskeene. It is the base of a Damaskeene razor with a wooden handle I made taking after a Darwin handle. This was my first attempt at making a Darwin type handle with wood.

I started with the cold water rinse. The Williams lathered well with the Jayaruh #424. I did one quick pass and touch-ups with the GEM Frankenskeene razor with a Personna Gem PTSE Single Edge Blade. After a cold water rinse, I finished with Brut After Shave. I am now clean, smooth, and refreshed.
 
First Hard Soap Shave ever and used Tabac. Now I see how you all get huge whipped cream bowls of lather!

Proraso pre-shave, Omega EVO, 3d printed lather bowl, Tabac original, Tatra blade, Original F1 Gillette 195, Omega alum, Stirling Varen aftershave, HAGs Faceless balm. Fantastic shave with a crazy amount of thick rich protective later. Hard soap is not as hard to use as I thought. Great another rabbit hole!

This shave I grabbed the new subscription set from 345 Soap - Vibe and went with the close in color aluminum Guerrilla.



345 Soap Co is one of my favorite small artisans. Jon consistently puts out bangers. For this reason I am subscribed to their soap subscription. And if you have not used 345 Soap Co before I suggest you do. And if you have or once you have if you don’t sign up for the subscription then what are you even doing? The base is one of the best in the business and the scents are all top notch! From their inspired by scents to originals all bangers! Go shave with some now! Now!!!!



The Guerrilla is a wonderful razor in a sea of wonderful aluminum razors (which I quite enjoy) they swim near the top! The plate I used today is .69 with a dual comb. It hits the sweet spot for me. Anyone wanting the Wolfman experience without the Wolfman price tag should look into a Guerrilla! It’s an excellent razor!

This unusual razor came with the CVH in my last shave. It’s smaller, midi-sized, and a near wedge to quarter hollow grind. It shaves with a very solid and smooth feel. I could not find out much about KIFA but I’m guessing it was for export since it is stamped Sweden. Very nice razor with a superb edge courtesy of Glen Mercurio at Gemstar Customs. :)
