I decided to do a little something different this week. I’m going to use the same soap, brush and bowl. Different razors and aftershaves.
Razor: Merkur 37c
Blade: Voskhod
Pre-Shave: PAA Cube
Shave Soap: Proraso White
AS: Reef Point Soaps Test Depth
Brush: Asylum Half Hive Premium Boar in Butterscotch
Lather Bowl/Scuttle/Mug: Timeless Razors

Mennen Skin Bracer After Shave

The Vintage Life Amalfi Basil Lemon Shave Soap lathered well with Jayaruh #454 Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Dad's Schick E3 Razor and a Personna Injector Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Mennen Skin Bracer After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
 
Without any doubt the Ti Blackbird provides the closest and most efficient shave of any razor I own! The other side of that coin is when I use it I have to pay attention to what I am doing. To those of you that are straight razor users I sometimes get “goose bumps” looking at your posts and thinking of how much skill you must have to safely and efficiently use that razor. Proraso pre-shave, House of Mammoth Sonder soap and aftershave, Ti two-tone Blackbird, Tatra platinum, HAGs Faceless balm. Flawless super close 2.5 pass shave. HoM has unique scents but Ben’s soap base is amazing.

Pre-shave; Warm shower, face rinse with MWF bar soap.
Brush; TroyCraft, Troymogue™ (Troy Made). TroyCraft Owner’s Club (TOC). Ebony, Huon Pine, Macadamia, Myrtle, Purple-heart and Wenge timbers for a Parquet styled handle, with a highly polished CA finish and a 25mm Oumo Ex Density ST-1 Synthetic knot. (Brush No 6)
Soap; Yardley, Vintage Green label.
Razor; Atelier Durdan, La Faulx ‘’The Scythe’’ AC razor with ++ plate. L.E 3/20 “Criniere Ardente” Fiery Mane.
Blade; Kai, Captain Titan Mild PINK.
Post-shave; My Concoction, No 2; Sauvecito Bay Rum 100mls, Witch Hazel 100mls, Moroccan Argan Oil 25mls, Bay Laurel Essential Oil 12.5mls, Vit E 5mls, Natural Plant Glycerine 2.5mls and 1.25ml of Tea Tree Oil Antiseptic (Thoroughly mixed together) aftershave/moisturiser splash!! ‘’Superb’’
Cologne/EDP;
Moisturiser;
Attar (Perfume Oil);
Shave; 3rd run with the new brush, again early but I know this knot will probably become my favourite and along with the handle design there will be a ‘’culling’’ of the rotation. Lovely 2 pass n touch up shave, so smooth with the La Falux, (smoothest razor to date for me) and the ++ plate is really efficient YMMV. Finished with the ‘’dual’’ splash/moisturiser. Superb.

British Invasion Day! First shave with Floris of London #89. I almost forgot hand turned bowl by my father-in-law with some of the wood from our property.

Proraso pre-shave, Floris #89, Gillette #66, Feather yellow, Omega alum, Thayers Toner, HAGs Faceless Balm. Great 2.5 pass shave.
