Saturday's Cold Water Shave

Cold Water Rinse
Williams Mug Shave Soap
Jayaruh #425 Synthetic
Schick J3 Golden 500
Personna Injector Blade
CWR
Humphrey's Witch Hazel
Brute After Shave

I started with the cold water rinse. The Williams lathered well with the Jayaruh #425. I did two passes with the Schick J3 Golden 500 razor with a Personna injector blade. After a cold water rinse, I finished with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Brute Classic After Shave. I am now clean, smooth, and refreshed.

New to me soap test.

I tried House of Mmmoth for the first time a few minutes ago and wow I loved it! Not as thirsty as some of my other soaps so the lather whipped up a little thinner than I like. I put it to the test with the Ti Blackbird standard base and the shave was fantastic! Flawless three passes. This will not be my last tub of House of Mammoth for sure.

Proraso pre-shave, Wild West Brushworks blue denim, House of Mammoth Sonder soap, Two-Tone Blackbird SB, Tatra, Omega alum, HAGs Cha Nova aftershave, HAGs Faceless balm.

Two great razors 👍🏻
 
Returning to one of my favorites to prepare for date night on our anniversary. :) In addition to holding a really nice edge, this razor feels very balanced in the hand. A joy to use.

This shave had me reach for the TRC Meetup set and the Blutt BR-1. I went with the new Spot Prints and TRC collab brush and finished all the shave with a few sprays of Nishane Wulong Cha.

The TRC Meetup was an amazing time! So why shouldn’t the set that was given out also be a banger! Citrusy with a little woodiness is what I’m picking up. And rich, thick lather! Perfect match for a perfect meetup!

The Blutt BR-1 is a great razor. I have the .99. It’s seems like the spot for me. I’ve become a middle ground razor kinda shaver recently. Not without venturing to mild or aggressive but mostly gravitating to the middle. Definitely a razor one should try at some point in their journey.

The new collab brush from Spot Prints and TRC is sweet as sugar! Perfect shape, weight, and the knot whipped up some yogurt or I guess Tzatziki being from Peter! Go get you one!

Day Two with Sonder. After emailing back and forth with Ben from HoM I decided to try a bigger thicker brush and I got better results. The soap is fantastic!

Proraso pre-shave, House of Mammoth Sonder, Omega EVO, BRG 195 Prospector (F3), Tatra, Omega alum, HAGs Orbit Grove, HAGs Faceless balm.
