Saturday's Cold Water Shave

I started with the cold water rinse. The Williams lathered well with the Jayaruh #425. I did one quick pass with the Pal Injecto-Matic razor with a Vintage PAL Blade. After a cold water rinse, I finished with Brut After Shave. I am now clean, smooth, and refreshed.

I started with the cold water rinse. The Williams lathered well with the Jayaruh #425. I did one quick pass with the Fuzzy Catcher razor by Tom White with a Personna Gem PTSE Blade. After a cold water rinse, I finished with Brut After Shave. I am now clean, smooth, and refreshed.
 
First “Alive“ Shave

I tried House of Mammoth Alive shave soap for the first time today. I absolutely loved it! This soap created such a thick rich lather with a truly wonderful scent. I wish I had the aftershave balm to go with it. I used HAGs Orbit Grove as it seemed to pair well. Putting Alive to the test with the Ti Bird SB was all the proof in needed. Flawless 2.5 pass shave.

Proraso pre-shave, House of Mamouth “Alive” soap, Omega EVO brush, Ti Blackbird SB with Tatra blade, Omega alum, HAGs Orbit Grove aftershave and Faceless balm.

This shave had me reach for Salve & Oak and the Karve Overlander. And a great shave was had!



This was my first go round with Salve & Oak. It’s one of their glycerin pucks. The scent is absolutely fantastic! Warm, with slight spice and sweetness the scent is intoxicating! I’ve used the EdP a few days in a row now! And the lather is slick as snot and full of cushion. And as a bowl latherer I have no problems scraping it into my bowl and going from there! Go get you some Salve & Oak!



And the Overlander is just Karve greatness! Super duper smooth and efficient!! This was started its life as brass and was 24k plated, quite pristinely, by Razor Emporium! And I love the Project X handle!
