Standard SS Ambassador OR Prospector Edition of REX Revamped Fatboy?

Which razor would you prefer? New Standard Stainless-Steel Ambassador or Gillette Fatboy Prospector Edition Razor Emporium Revamped? Ambassador slightly higher in price, though not significant. I don't have either one. Which do you like? Opinions very welcome!

Hi @Shaving008 unless you are really set on the offerings from the Razor Emporium.
There are many other options as far as DE razors go have you checked out any of the artisan razor makers? Some of the well-known ones are.
Karve shaving
Alpha shaving
Aylsworth razors
These are the most well-known artisans.
There is also Razorock razors which also make some fine razors.
In my opinion “and this is just my opinion”.
If I was to buy a fat boy, I would be looking on the forums or eBay or other marketplace sites
You can pick up a very nice original example at a decent price still.
You really are paying a premium for a revamp razor.
No disrespect to Razor Emporium I myself had a fat boy revamped sometime ago for an anniversary gift to a family member they do very nice work in this area.

Out of those two, I’d go Fatboy every day, I have a “prospector” it is my birth year Red Tip, maybe something along those lines, age dependent of course

Thank you for your response. I have other razors, quite a few Rockwell variations currently using the Rockwell S and the 24K Rockwell S. The Rex Envoy and the Oliworks stainless steel as well as their aluminum razors. I used Supply Razors and vintage Schick injectors for a time. I like the look of the Prospector Razor with the nice mix of the Rhodian and Gold Plating, when they use it on the Fat Boy it is less expensive than when added on their already costly Ambassador Razor with just stainless steel. I do appreciate your input.
