Some folks say the head is the same as a regular British flare tip,just with the heavier handle,others say the head is the same as the 1950's 4th gen Aristocrat..I find little difference but to me it feels like a 4th gen 'crat shave.very smooth and efficient.:)It could well be the blades I use in it also..I have used vintage Spoilers/Super Silvers in the #58 for quite some time..
