As far as vintager Gillettes go, I love them. One of the finest razors ever made IMHO is the Gillette New Long Comb. I routinely rotate through mine.

Blade; Gillette, Nacet.
Post-shave; My Concoction; Wahl Traditional Bay Rum 500mls, Witch Hazel 500mls, Moroccan Argan Oil 50mls, Bay Laurel Essential Oil 25mls, Vit E 5mls, Natural Plant Glycerine 2.5mls and 1.25mls of Tea Tree Oil Antiseptic (Thoroughly mixed together) aftershave/moisturiser splash!! ‘’Superb’’
Cologne/EDP;
Moisturiser;
Attar (Perfume Oil);
Shave; Bloody great old fashioned shave with the (IMHO) the nicest looking razor Gillette ever made, bar none. I’m getting really hooked on the Vintage Yardley, wondering if I may prefer it over Vintage O/S, mmh!! Finished off with the splash/moisturiser, for a pleasant shave to start the day.

IMHO If you need anything more than a Vintage Gillette to get a DFS, you need to brush up on your TECHNIQUE, or Buy Better Blades.

I can certainly get a great shave with just about any vintage Gillette, and I really like all of them that I have. But I also definitely enjoy the variety of all the other razors in my collection.
