Member of B&B where I met @Vittoria and he suggested this forum, so I decided to come check things out! I started getting into "traditional" wet shaving using DE/SE just over 2 years ago. I had a DE open comb about 20 years ago but I destroyed my face with it. Now looking back, I was using it like a cartridge razor; no prep, using canned shaving cream, no clue about angles and pressure, etc. Fast forward to a couple years ago and I started poking around for alternatives to expensive cartridge razors. I came upon a YouTube video by Executive Shaving and the rest is history. I now have 40 razors with a new one on the way, 40+ different soaps, 19 brushes with more on the way from a recent forum charity auction.
