Weekly Razor Review

Errol

New member
I have previously posted my Weekly Razor Review on Paste and Cut for about seven years. For reasons unbeknown to me, I was advised last week that there was a 2016 sabbatical on razor reviews. I have checked with the moderators hare and they kindly agreed to provide a new home for them. For a while my reviews might be more disjointed than normal till I get my head around the new surroundings. I usually like to post my review on Saturday morning and intend to slip into the same procedure here. Thanks for having me aboard.

Haven’t got a clue the “guts” of that, as since I’ve been a P&C Forum member, I’ve looked forward to “my” 15min read every Saturday morning and the “passive” enabling 😂😂 but more importantly helping me make a more informed decision prior to any purchase
Cheers mate

TOP SHOTS (Updated January 2026)

There are many good razors out there but only the cream rises to the top. I’ve stepped back to have a good hard look at the best razors I’ve used before coming up with my latest list. This list may upset some but remember, this is my thoughts. If your list differs from mine, I’m not going to argue; your values are different to mine.

Double Edge Razor

  • Atelier Durdan Numéro 7
  • Aylsworth Drakkant
  • Aylsworth Apex Ti
  • Blutt BR1
  • Carbon Cx
  • Charcoal Goods
  • Karve Christopher Bradley
  • Lambda Ares Ti
  • Oliworks M3tiorite Ti
  • RAW Shaving RS 10
  • Smart Helix Apollo
  • Timeless Slim
  • Wolfman Guerrilla
  • Wolfman WR2
Single Edge Razor

  • Alpha Spirit SE
  • Atelier Durdan Vestige
  • Blackland Vector
  • Colonial General
  • Wolfman WR4
Adjustable

  • Gillette Toggle
  • REX Konsul Slant Adjustable
Best Travel

Colonial General Version 1

My favourite razor amongst those I’ve used is the Wolfman WR2, 0.95, Titanium fitted with the WRH4 handle. This particular razor was probably a prototype that I purchased in a Wolfman auction but today you could order an exact copy of this razor from their website. And I do have a second favourite razor that may surprise: the Carbon Cx-Graphite (TI). Very close is the Atelier Durdan Numéro 7. Happy shaving.

@Errol great list n thanks for sharing , with a Vector (SE) and Toggle (Adjustable) already in my rotation I might have to get one from the (DE) list unless an Athena makes it 🤔 eventually, 😂😂
Your reviews are top class as impartial, not “enhanced” by sponsors and “stated” as you see and find the razor, all relative to the end user.
I hope members on this new Forum are aware of your reviews in alphabetical order on P&C?
Cheers
Les
