What DE razor did you shave with today?

The thin bar handle makes the GC look so small and nimble!

I agree.it looks more proportional in my mind,it's 3 inches long,so Gillette standard size..:)..and the balace is just at the top of the wide knurling section under the smooth band..just like a ball end tech..69.50 grams total with Wilkinson blade..if I didn't have all these Gillettes it would probably be an only razor, but ..the Glllette's keep the "vintage" in old school shaving for me amongst other things..part of the parcel per se..

The humble but thoroughly excellent and always reliable Edwin Jagger DE89 Barley was yesterday’s whisker whacking weapon but tomorrow I shall have my 7 O’Clock Bakelite Tech in action.

It’s a wee lightweight smasher in a sort of marbled maroon bakelite that has a brass screw thread inserted into the handle and a proper nickel plated brass top cap with screw post.

I’ve used and still own a few different different types of Tech but this off-brand bakelite beastie is the dog’s danglies!

Photograph in tomorrow’s SotD awaits…😎
