Lets share something about ourselves.

I started out as a telecoms engineer. Now I am a VP for a large electronics company. It goes some way to paying for my razor habit!!

Still an engineer at heart though.

Before I was medically retired, I was a senior structural design draftsman for 20 years using AutoCAD, working side by side with the structural engineers and architect engineers, doing commercial, industrial and residential construction projects.

Yes, it’s does. When architects don’t understand about structural engineering, when they can’t have everything they want or how they wanted to design.

More steel, reinforcement or cubic feet of concrete are very very expensive.

I am disabled now but for 13 years I was a utility worker here in NYC and was then elected as a union business agent for my local union. I was in that position for 4 years when my health issues began and I was forced into early disability retirement.

I’m a Firefighter in Massachusetts in the United States. I’ve been on the job for 15 years and feel very lucky to have come into this job. I thoroughly enjoy it.

Fleeter Streeter's would refer to my profession as Snapper, but freelance Photojournalist would be sort of my profession, but I did much more.

30 years in the US Military then worked as a locksmith for a number of years followed by 5 years in the local city government in finance department. Finally completely retired.

I worked as an underground miner for 30 years in gold copper and nickel mines in Western Australia and the Northern Territory of Australia.
I've been a Fuel tanker driver for past 12 years still working....
