For today’s shave I reached for a new artisan I picked up at The Razor Company, Aura-Craft - Feeling Good, to go with the new Aylsworth Atelier I also picked up at TRC.
Feeling Good from Aura-Craft is a wonderful scent. Warm, sweet, slightly floral, and a touch of spice. They list clove but thankfully to me it’s imperceptible. This base is made from goose fat. It’s slick, thick, and rich. It can take some water and sprouts lather. And post shave feel is fantastic. I can’t wait to try their other bases and I’ve heard rumors of splashes in development from them. Keep your eyes on TRC and go grab some of Feeling Good and start feeling great!
The Atelier, wow! I love me some single edge razors. My current favorite, out of the many I’ve tried and owned, is the Amakuni. And I must say after one shave this will be giving the Amakuni a run for its money. Light, nimble, and with the angle that the head is at as smooth a shave as I can get! It was such a smooth easy shave I went ATG on my neck which hardly ever happens. Wow! This is an amazing razor! Go get one now!
All in all an amazing shave! Have an awesome week!
