My first Saponificio Bignoli arrived yesterday from The Razor Company. I went with a classic vintage soap. A fresh soapy scent with a touch of orange citrus. This is a very soft cream, but a little bit goes a long way and makes a wonderful lather. Just a fantastic shave with my red TanZ and Blutt razor. The Van Der Hagen Luxury Shave Soap face-lathered well with Jayaruh #199 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the 1907 Gem Jr. Lather Catcher razor and the Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Nivea Shave Balm. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

picked up the wrong razor earlier..my bad.. here is the correct razor for my planned shave..

Here my Shave of the Day (25.01.2026)

Razor: Maxwell June EX // Blade: Gillette yellow // Soap: SV Felce Aromatica // Brush: Plisson HMW Synthetic // Aftershave: Nivea Balm

Great shave. I LOVE the Maxwell June. It is such a fantastic razor. So smooth, gentle and thoroughly.

Together with a yellow Gillette it took me 2,5 passes to get BBS, The wonderful Felce Aromatica was lathered up in bowl with my all new Plisson Heigh Mountain White Synthetic. Velvet tips and just with the right amount of backbone for me. Love the shape of the handle.

To finish this relaxing shave i used my trusty Nivea Balm. The more i use it, the more i am thinking why i did not grab it much earlier. Skincare is top notch, scent pairs nearly with every soap and the biggest plus: it isn ´t that long lasting.

All in all 10 out of 10

Whoa…that soap looks like i need it…:love: Where did you bought this? Is this a pipe tobacco scent like PAA ´s Cavendish or Shannons Soaps Balkan Blend?
