This old Gillette still has so much love in the wet shaving world it's quite amazing considering
how many other's followed.

The Williams Mug Shave Soap was face-lathered well with Jayaruh #144 Finest Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Schick J3 Golden 500 razor and the Schick Super Krona Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Derby City Chop Shop Winter Reserve After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Today I grabbed the Maxwell June with the EX cap and MSC and TRC collab Alien.

The Maxwell June provides a great shave. Nice and close yet smooth. It surprises me every time as if it wasn’t for the audible feed back I wouldn’t be sure it was cutting. The EX is more efficient for sure but the original cap feels to me exactly the same. It’s a no brainer for the price.

Master Soap Creations and The Razor Company really did amazing with this collab! Floral, spicy, and warming this scent really is awesome for this time of year. And as always amazing performance! Please we need more collabs between these two!

An awesome shave was had. I smell and feel amazing! Have awesome shaves all!

Razor: iKON B1 Deluxe OC // Blade: Gillette Platinum // Soap: The Dutch Barbershop Herbal Coconut // Brush: Mühle SFT 23mm // Aftershave: Nivea Hydro Care Balm

A truly exquisite shave in 2 passes plus touch-ups.

The razor performed stunningly with the blade. Gentle, smooth and super thoroughly. Without ANY blood spots or anything like that, other than the shaves in the past I’ve had with it.

Lathering the soap is similar to an MdC. When water comes near the soap it lathers immediately 🤣The glide is so phenomenal that even much higher priced soaps could shiver in fear. Scent is wonderful. A creamy, slightly herbal Coconut scent which gives you summer vibes.

Applied the Nivea Balm to smooth out everything. A slight tingle for a second and after that: skin care par excellence

10 out of 10
